Description

Nightforce Precision Benchrest 8-32x56 MOA Turrets NP-R2 Reticle Rifle Scope

The Nightforce 8-32x56 and 12-42x56 NXS are long range NXS hybrids that incorporate all the research and development benefits Nightforce has learned in 1,000 yard benchrest competition since 1991. Nightforce has combined all the durability and features of our tactical NXS line with high-power variable magnification and a wide selection of target and field reticles, which were born out of Nightforce???????s Precision Benchrest Series. These hybrid NXS models make a significant departure from the tactical applications of its predecessors to offer long-range and benchrest shooters fast internal adjustment capabilities for precise and repeatable shot placement. The 8-32x56 and 12-42x56 NXS feature resolution and optical performance comparable only to high-end spotting scopes. Like all NXS scopes, both NXS hybrids deliver performance exceeding that of other riflescopes.

I have had this scope on my 6.5 Creedmore 10BA Savage for over two years and I love it. The glass is crisp, distortion free and gathers lots of light. The illumination feature is great on dark targets at long distance. The range in Parma Idaho has steel out to 1000, from 90 deg sunny days to cloudy winter days I can ring steel at 800 all day, this scope delivers excellent overall performance at a price a working man, "or a retired guy" like me can afford. I have read reviews that spout crap about Japanese made junk, if people believe that, then Nikon, Cannon, etc, are lousy cameras because of Japanese glass. Don't confuse Japanese with Chinese junk. The only request I would make of Nightforce is a more comprehensive manual for this scope, particularly a power vs moa chart since this is a second focal plane scope. This would really help new long range shooters get up to speed. Lovin life in Idaho God Bless America

I run one of these on my midrange TR gun. I couldn’t ask for better glass. I’ve used other, more expensive, glass but this NF is the best. It’s a little heavy but no so much as to be a problem.
